Job Description
Client Consultation:
I meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project requirements. This involves discussing the project’s scope, budget, and timeline to ensure alignment with the client’s vision.
Concept Development:
I develop initial design concepts that meet the client’s objectives while considering factors such as site conditions, building codes, and environmental sustainability. This stage often involves creating sketches and preliminary drawings.
Design Development:
I translate conceptual designs into detailed architectural plans and specifications. This includes creating floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D models using specialized software. These detailed drawings communicate the design intent and technical details to clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
Project Management:
I oversee the implementation of design projects from conception to completion. This involves coordinating with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are executed according to schedule, budget, and quality standards. I manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, resolving any issues that arise during the construction process.
Construction Administration:
During the construction phase, I provide on-site supervision and support. This includes reviewing construction progress, inspecting workmanship, and addressing any discrepancies or changes to the design. I also respond to requests for information (RFIs), review shop drawings, and approve material selections to ensure the final built product meets the design intent and quality standards.
