Building Structures:
My construct various structures such as walls, floors, pavements, chimneys, and decorative features using individual units of brick, stone, or concrete blocks.
This involves reading and interpreting blueprints to ensure that the structures are built according to design specifications.
Material Preparation:
I mix mortar or grout, which is essential for binding the building materials together1.
Cutting, shaping, and dressing materials to fit specific designs and ensuring they are properly aligned and level.
Construction and Repair:
I lay bricks, stones, or blocks, ensuring each piece is placed accurately and securely.
Repairing and restoring old or damaged masonry work, which may involve replacing broken bricks or stones and repointing mortar joints.
Quality and Safety:
Conducting quality checks to ensure the integrity and durability of the structures you build.
Adhering to safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
