Bricklayer Responsibilities
Constructing Walls and Structures: I build walls, partitions, arches, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials. This involves laying bricks in mortar and ensuring they are level and aligned.
Reading and Interpreting Plans: I read and interpret construction plans and blueprints to determine the layout and specifications of the structures I build.
Mixing Mortar: I mix mortar or grout to the correct consistency to bind bricks together. This is crucial for the stability and durability of the structures.
Repairing Masonry: I also repair and restore existing masonry structures, ensuring they remain safe and aesthetically pleasing.
Using Tools and Equipment: I use various tools such as trowels, levels, and masonry saws to perform my tasks efficiently and safely.
